This vehicle has mutated to become a disc that floats its passengers through the musical spaces of black rock city. Inspired by smokey red lounges found in many genre's of music venues, there is a central cozy banquette filled with pillows. Outside is more public yet intimate seating. The vehicle smiles and listens when it greets you.
Psyche
The front of the car and its driver are the conscious ego of the vehicle - the work of creation and idea of what she should be. What is behind the smiling face is where the truth of existence lies. The central chill area of the car is the domain of the subconscious. The outward seating is the window to the collective unconsciousness of the BRC residents.
As we develop discomo and learn about ourselves and who she is the differing representations of the unconscious and subconcious will evolve.
The Gift
We will be sharing and seeking music of all forms throughout the city. The aerial disc provides shade by day, and at night it glows while gliding through the desert. A smile for all by day, the face can wink on an off at night.
The Reason
Discomo will be a focus for a community of nyc designers, artists, performers, builders, and lovers. Its creation will help their journey to BRC pull them together with the inner child community based out of SF.
Destination Music
The sound system will be modest (<200Watt) and the dj booth will be in the front of the vehicle next to the driver. Guests can bring discs, pods or instruments as we discover the music of the playa.

speed rail and fittings will be U- bolted to the rack
Flexible PVC pipe will form the disc and enable easy transport. Grommetted fabric will be stretched inside the disc to provide shade.
